Create a space factory to build space exploration ships to go out and explore our galaxy.

In comes the first USS Enterprise built in space, this facory would create jobs. Using space ships to carry materials to build the ships. This would include during the building of this massive space facility....The backing would come from government contracts and private contracts to build the first space vehicles, and the technology to get us there..why you as it would be better to build in space because of the fact there is not corrosion in space because there is no oxygen to build corrosion. This make take a few decades like the Internation space station, but this would be there first wave in getting us to Mars and other planets sooner....the more funding to this program would pay off in the end because we might one day find a planet to colonize, reap the benefits of that planet.
