I am a high school student who knows many kids who have dropped out of high school to get a general labor job, such as a mechanic, driver, repair man, plumber, etc. What if the government, instead of trying to teach everyone everything, made trade FREE public trade schools to entice kids who would normally drop out to continue on a path they would follow anyway, but be better at it. I think this would also create jobs because you would need the students to also be the teachers anyway. Also, you would create private sector jobs for buying the materials, building the school, running the school, cleaning the school, etc. I think it would educate the American public more efficiently, and in turn, lower the unemployment level because of all the ways to create jobs.
