Create StarFleet Academy and direct all of NASA's resources into developing Warp Drive by 2020.

I petition the U.S. government to create Starfleet Academy as the primary institution for scientific research into Space Exploration. I also petition that all funding into physics research be immediately redirected towards research into the development of the Warp reactor and Warp Drive. I also petition for the formation of the United Nations Space Command (U.N.S.C.) as the international body to govern the exploration of space in the name of the Human Race. Given the discovery of the Higgs Boson, Dark Matter, Dark Energy and the Alcubierre Metric all theoretical hurdles have been overcome except a unified field theory which given more funding is attainable. The threat to the U.S., Humanity and Earth demands nothing less!
