Create a statute of limitations for the use of police force on citizens.

Created by R.H. on November 19, 2011

Protect and Serve.

In recent weeks we have witnessed numerous cases of police using excessive force on citizens exercising their right to assemble. The militarized police in this country have gone too far with their brutality and there is a dire need for immediate reform in police protocol.

A statute of limitations would lay out a clear boundary of what is and isn't considered accepted police action. Officers should face criminal charges for using excessive force, brutality, and weapons on citizens who pose no threat to authorities, others, or themselves.
