Create a statute reducing the volume, and prices, of zoning permits for domestic households and non-commercial buildings

The average homebuilder faces a myraid of zoning and building permits. Many of these permits are established by local governments, but the federal government also has permit regulations of their own. These permits cost money, and they add up. This, in turn, makes it much harder to build a home. By reducing the number of these permits, we can make it easier for the american people who wish to build a home to do so. Unnecessary permits include: permits for fencing, central air conditioning, heating, windows, doors, and swimming pools, among many others. So i propose that, if creditors are not involved in the financing of the building, and if it is for personal use, a federal statute be put in place limiting the types of permits that localities can impress on future homeowners.
