Create a statutory minimum employment leave of four+ weeks. Join most other developed nations; protect our workers!

Created by C.W. on March 05, 2013

The United States is one of the few developed countries in the world that does not manage minimum employment leave. This takes a toll on our society - family life, mental health, and much more. Time off from work and vacation are healthy, necessary things. However the current mindset is that the workplace is more important than your happiness. Many European countries mandate at least four or five weeks of time off per year. The United Statues needs to follow suit and show that people come first. Pass a law mandating minimum vacation time of four to five weeks for American workers.
