My petition is to make stiffer penalties for people who drive under the influence of prescription and over the counter medication. It is a detriment to society for people to drive under these conditions. Many people understand that it is bad to drink and drive as well as to do drugs and drive but they do not realize that it can be just as harmful to take your normal and daily medications. I want to bring awareness to all people and say that if you do take daily medication to check and see if that impairs your driving. Take a stand and end the epidemic that is appearing all across the country.
