This stipend is for those single parents struggling to raise their child/ren, work and pay for childcare. For families in one-income households where both parents wish to work, but cannot afford childcare. For parents wishing to raise their own children more directly while working part-time. Imagine a society where postpartum leave was not an issue. Where a Mother and/or Father who can't stand the thought of leaving their newborn wouldn't have to choose. Where Grandparents, our elders, could care for their grandchildren and be compensated. Where the psychological and physiological weight of meeting basic needs didn't exist, easing the worry, guilt and stress of Parents/ providers. This stipend enures caregivers financial security and children of our nation the quality care they deserve!
