create a stricter cyberbully policy in schools

Created by A.A. on February 23, 2015

Cyber-bullying is one of the most serious forms of abuse in the world today, done on social media and through cellphones. The first action is for the child to tell the parents, then report it to the school, but most of the time nothing gets done and the whole case is overlooked, leaving the attackers free to continue and target as many people as they want. It doesn't even get to the point of reporting to the school, since only 1 in 10 kids tell their parents that they are a victim, as the i-SAFE foundation reports. In worse case scenarios, it can even result in death, as several cases of suicides have shown throughout the last decade. This is a petition to push for a cyberbullying policy in schools that makes their administration take a more serious action on reports by students.
