Create stricter gun control laws, regulating who, how and when citizens may bear arms. It is in our Constitution.

Created by S.D. on April 13, 2013

The Second Amendment states "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Citizens always claim to have the right to bear arms and it shall not be infringed, but very often forget the first few words of the second amendment, a well regulated militia. Therefore, regulating or creating more strict gun control laws is not infringing upon the right to bear arms. Creating stricter gun control laws will lower devastating tragedies like what occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
