We can all notice that our earth is changing rapidly. Just look at Superstorm Sandy. If our government were to create a system for which middle class Americans could afford hybrids and electric vehicles, it would be a great start on cutting down pollution and giving mother nature a much needed respite. The problem with renewable energy transportation is that the initial cost up front is not worth the savings the driver would accumulate over the course of the vehicle's life. Even tax breaks barely scratch the surface of these vehicles. We want to help our earth heal, but we need the means in which to do so.
