Create a system that registers prescriptions in all pharmacies in the US, to help prevent prescription drug abuse

In the United States, it is estimated that 2.5 million Americans used prescription drugs non-medically in 2010 alone. This number is on the rise, and so is the number of people who become addicted. Because there is no way for doctors to tell if a patient has already gone to one or more other doctor, and received a prescription for a drug, people have the ability to easily abuse these legal drugs. The reason it continues is because of the multi-billion dollar Pharmaceutical companies lobby and donate to politicians so that people will keep buying and abusing their drugs so they can make a hefty profit. Please help stop this tragedy from continuing to ruin the lives of thousands of Americans and the people around them.
