Create a system whereby old laws are evaluated for removal

Created by D.F. on September 23, 2011

In addition to the current systems we have in place for creating new legislation, we need a system that re-evaluates old legislation and seeks to simplify the legal code through the removal of obsolete legislation.

We have entire websites like DumbLaws that are dedicated to the exposure of obsolete legislation and detail laws still in effect that are often in conflict with newer legislation, violate women's rights, describe impossible or ludicrous situations, etc.

This system would not only aid in keeping the United States a truly free country and help rid it of lingering prejudice, but it would also ensure that our courts are not tied up with frivolous lawsuits and those who keep the peace are not distracted from more important duties.
