Create a task force responding to the recent UN publication on Intersex individual human rights violations.

Created by L.L. on October 26, 2015

Intersex people are born with sex characteristics not considered typical. "Between .05% - 1.7% of the pop. is born with intersex traits – the upper estimate is similar to the number of red haired people...Intersex children and adults are often stigmatized and subjected to multiple human rights violations, including violations of their rights to health and physical integrity.”-UN

We're seeking a task force to investigate the human rights violations Intersex people experience in medical settings as recently noted by the UN in Sept 2015 and in their 2013 Special Rapporteur on Torture.

Intersex children deserve the right to bodily autonomy and self determination. With your help we can convene the 1st Task Force on Intersex issues & hopefully pass the first Intersex anti-discrimation laws.
