Create a tax incentive for autonomous vehicles, similar to electric / hybrid cars.

Autonomous technology is in our near future. Its time to start looking at the benefits of implementing it into our society. Since this is a new idea to implement, we should allow for people to become comfortable with the technology. We could start by offering tax credit incentives. These benefits could be similar to buying an electric car or hybrid. This allows for people to start seeing self driving cars as a normal thing and help create a fairly new market.
