Specifically, the signers of this petition ask that there be mechanisms on all guns that do not allow them to work in public areas. The mechanisms would have to be tamper free. Police guns would be the only exception, which would only turn on with a police man's fingerprints. We propose this as a politically and technically practical solution to gun control.
