Stats of voter’s fraud has been minimal to none, suppression laws have then rightfully been debated. Nevertheless, we do seem to need more comprehensive security protections to confirm absentee ballot receipts/confirmations of ‘voter head counts’, such as with entry turn style monitoring device at polling sites.
The exuberant amounts of campaign contributions could be better spent if directed at building more polling site ‘safety guards’. Federal government oversight of these ‘checks/balances’ for comparison of polling intake-exit data could assure constituents about the validity of projected election outcomes. It seems naïve to think money, ads/robo calls dictate many voter decisions. However, money could buy and create incentive for subtle system manipulation at polling events.
