The purpose of this petition is for the enactment of Term Limits on all members of Congress.
From the moment politicians take office, they are focused on 1 thing and 1 thing only, ReElection. Congress is fraught with members that have been easily corrupted by the power of their positions and serving is no longer seen as civil duty but as a way to become rich and self-serving.
Congressional members continuously toe their party lines and partisanship has never been worse. We have seen all too well a lack of willingness to compromise or make any real difference.
We must force Congress to embrace a constant flow of new leadership and new thinking and to put aside party politics and self interests.
We ask that the Presidient insist Congress pass a bill enacting Term Limits on all members
