Create term limits for all members of Congress

We, the undersigned, wish to enact a new law stating that no person shall be allowed to provide more than ten years of service as a member of Congress in their lifetime. All members of Congress will be paid no more than $45,000 annually, plus an additional $8,000 annually for every spouse and/or dependent in their care. Members of Congress will be awarded no lifetime benefits other than health insurance. No person running for government office may use personal funds as a means to pay for any part of a campaign: all persons running for public office must rely solely on campaign donations from individuals-not organizations or private businesses-for advertisement.
