In a country and world that changes on a daily basis, there should be an inherent mechanism that also spurs the refreshing of the officials that are chosen to represent that dynamic system. Congressmen, Supreme Court Judges and Federal Judges are elected or nominated to create, vote on and/or enforce the laws that govern our great nation. However, our current system provides no requirement that would force the changing of these guardians of our legal system, even though we vote on the US President every 4 years.
Isn't it time that our nation adapted on a Federal level, by requiring appropriate term limits for each of these guardians so we have a steady flow of people with differing opinions and forward looking mindsets so our Nation continues to keep's pace with our changing world?
