Please create term limits for Congress! The politicians who serve in Washington get lazy and self-serving because they spend so many years in office. This has created the culture of the "do nothing" Congress that makes the American people furious.
According to Gallup, Congress' approval rating was 13% as of October 12, 2011. This ties the all-time Gallup low from December, 2010. We can end this frustration and disapproval by implementing term limits.
Those who serve in the House of Representatives and The Senate should be LIMITED TO 8 YEARS.
This will create higher turn over in Washington, and pull the power back toward the American people. It will pull power away from the Washington elite who abuse their positions to promote self-interest and under-the-table agendas.
