Create term limits for Congress. 2 terms for Senators and 4 terms for Representatives.

Created by W.U. on January 23, 2013

Congressional gridlock is usually a healthy part of our American Democracy. Recently, some members of Congress have set aside their duties for political and personal gain instead of legislating. These few tenured Senators and Representatives have maintained a detrimental gridlock int the face of severe economic uncertainty. Term limits will encourage Congressional members to legislate at a faster pace, produce fresher ideas, and work more for the American People and less for themselves. As a result, economic uncertainty and potential calamity will not be in hands of a few men and women in Congress.
