We the people of the United States need term limits for Congress. Term limits would be 4 terms for the House and 2 terms for the Senate.Serving in the Senate is a privilege that needs to be limited to individuals who can get in and get the work done. If you are 20 year member, you can probably assume your re-election and act on your own private agenda. Representatives are re-elected every 2 years. The reasoning behind the two years of service was to create fluidity and diversity in the Congress that was fully representative of The People. Members of the House that remain in office after 8 years become too political. Presidents are limited to 2 terms to prevent an abuse of power thru longevity, that same logic needs to be applied to the Congress.
