Why should so few political positions be held to term limits while other seats are held by individuals for decades? Everything, from local city mayors up to the President of the United States should be held to term limits. Congress and Senate should not be above this. If politicians were only allowed 8 total years in a given seat, the lobbyist and corporate donors would lose their buddies in DC. Then maybe, the control of government will get out of the corporate pocket and will come back to the people.
