In order to have a government not gridlocked by career politicians who care more about getting re-elected than serving the best interests of their country, we must impose term limits on members of Congress. A two-term system would enable a consistently flowing and refreshingly productive Congress. Without being mired by congressional kingpins, we can empower our legislative branch to cooperate more effectively, to put in power innovative new thinkers, and to reduce the political games that have caused Congress to lose the respect of the American people.
