Create term limits for the Senate and House. Elected officials may serve no longer than 12 years

It is time to limit the terms of office for the senate and House.
There are many quotes and references, that once you are elected to office, you have a job for life. We in Hawaii have found this true, with the opening of 2 seats in the senate. Both of the Senators were 88 years old. In the real business world, both would have retired at around the age of 65-75. We the people of Hawaii settled for the name and mediocrity of re electing the same people term after term. The fact that they were in relationships with lobbyists and the unions helped them get elected.
We are now in the 21st century. If you can't get the job in the new term limit, it is time to give other people a chance.
