Term limitations have been placed on the presidency by the 22nd Amendment for good cause; to prevent stagnation, autocracy, and promote new ideas, among others.
For the past few decades, stagnation, lack of imagination, and "politics as usual" have plagued the United States Congress.
We submit that Congress should have similar term limits imposed on it's representatives. This would promote new people, new ideas, and new pathways to National prosperity.
It would also limit corruption and unfair power balances held strongly by long-standing Congressional leaders.
For these and other reasons not stated, please address the possibility of setting term limits for Congress.
