Without term limits imposed on congressmen , the force of lobbyists and special interests hugely affects and sways their votes and causes congressional grid lock on issues important to a broader spectrum of voters. One term of five years for newly elected and those already elected should get only one more term of four years. Theses were never intended to be lifetime positions.
