create term limits for U.S. Senators and Representatives.

I firmly believe that there are too many Congressmen and women that are too busy trying to be reelected instead of working towards the betterment of our country. Term limits would shake up the Congress and allow for a better functioning government, more along the lines of what our founding fathers envisioned. The job of Senator, or Representative, was meant to be a short term positition of serving our country, not a career. If Congressmen or women were limited in their time, they would be more effective legislators, working for a better country, not for their own personal gain.
