The hit TV franchise Firefly has been off the air for over a decade, with the last episode airing at the end of 2002. Since that time, we the people of the United States have felt a great void of quality television. We petition the Obama Administration to create an executive order that returns new episodes of Firefly to the airwaves by 2014.
Quality television allows Americans to bond through great catch phrases and cosplay. It gives America's youth a positive influence through strong character development, good moral lessons, and comic relief. The cancellation of Firefly was an assault on the American people and our way of life and order must be restored. We implore the Obama administration to return Firefly to the airwaves by any means necessary.
