create tougher penalties for DUI.

Created by D.D. on March 10, 2014

There needs to be tougher penalties when someone is killed from a person who is driving under the influence. Right now if someone dies from DUI, it is manslaughter. Manslaughter is accidental killing of someone without trying to cause harm to someone, choosing to drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol is NOT an accident, it is on purpose, and it is perfectly clear to people that somebody can get harmed from DUI. Therefor if somebody dies as a result of a driver under the influence, the driver needs be charged with murder with a tougher prison sentence and penalties when an innocent life is taken away because of DUI. DUI is NOT an accident, so why should the death of an innocent life be considered anything less of murder.
