Help build a program that transitions highly skilled, experienced professionals from their current jobs to that of becoming teachers in our colleges/universities and secondary schools.
Many of our schools employee teachers who have had little to no "real world" experience using technologies and business skills yet are responsible for teaching our children how to do just that. Many near-retiree professionals in the business/math/science sectors would love the opportunity to teach in our schools. However, there is much red tape for professionals to transition to teaching in our schools. The credentialing programs are lengthy, filled with nonsense paperwork (Eg: BTSA), and too expensive to allow a retiree to make the transition. Help our schools acquire these professionals to teach!
