Our current society has severely infringed upon the liberties of others to the level of draconian and totalitarian punishments for victim-less decisions. We realize the nature of opiate medications to be deadly, addictive, and with debilitating side effects, yet they also produce a high. By contrast cannabis and many other plants and medicines currently illegal are safer and many health-care professionals wish to prescribe them. We ask and demand to be treated as humans for our human actions, only injured party creation is a crime, such as killing someone.
