We, the undersigned request a law making it illegal for any media which identifies itself as a "news" channel to broadcast misleading or false information to the American public.
Background:
Over the last few years, national news networks have purposely broadcast partisan misinformation to the American public. This information is often taken as is, as most Americans do not have the ability (or time) to fact-check such claims.
It's time to allow the American people to trust their news again, without having to worry about whether it's biased by hidden agendas.
