create a unified policy on immigration in order to alleviate individual states from creating unconstitutional ones.

Created by L.D. on September 23, 2011

The states of Arizona, Alabama, and Georgia (among others) have recently come under fire for creating strict policies on immigration. Every one of their policies have been challenged in court and stopped from enforcement.

At this point, it should be clear that the United States government needs to take a stance on this issue and create a policy that addresses illegal immigration, while not limiting basic human and civil rights.

While there is no one right answer on how to address the issue, something needs to be done. Illegal immigration is putting a strain on our already tough economy. Please support this petition and show our government that we want immigration reform!
