Create a uniform set of Federal firearms laws that supersede all State firearm laws, to protect that enumerated right.

Created by C.B. on September 27, 2011

Under the 2nd amendment of the Constitution every American has the right to arms for protection. However, not every law abiding American is afforded the same access to arms, depending on State of residence. There should be a uniform set of laws that supercede all State laws. The current Federal firearms law are more than enough to ensure every American equal treatment. However, States have created arbitrary laws based on reactionary decisions, resulting in Americans not being treated equally for no other reason than geographic location. In addition to the current Federal regulation the following should be added: 1. No longer importing or exporting semi-automatic firearms. 2. No rifle magazines larger than 20 rounds, and no pistol magazine larger then 15 rounds for civilian use.
