CREATE A UNIFORMED CODE OF JUSTICE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL

Created by A.E. on December 06, 2014

Congress must create a stricter code of conduct for the police force. The Armed Forces know law enforcement. We get it; as personnel responsible for the protection of Americans' rights, we see the worst of humanity. However, what one does not see in the Armed Forces are the rampant abuse and misuse of lethal force and authority that one sees in law enforcement. It is because we as service members are subjected to the Uniformed Code of Military Justice.
Americans should be able to expect integrity and honor when they call upon their police force; instead, they get raped, profiled, harassed, assaulted, and, all too often, murdered. We have created a society in which officers are above the law, and they have in turn given us a lawless society. Restore integrity in law enforcement.
