Create a Universal Coverage Single-Payer Government-Based Health Care System. We are the only first-world nation without

Created by R.L. on April 29, 2013

The United States is the only first-world country that does not provide universal access to and coverage for quality health care. Japan, Germany, France, and other nations all spend at least 2x less on health care costs than the U.S., yet all provide universal coverage to health care. While there are many avenues to address this issue, it is time to end the failure of the American health care system and take heed to our global neighbors efforts in health care economy innovation. There is not one true solution to the health care crisis, but private for-profit based insurance is clearly unsustainable in light of our nation's health care needs.
