With health care costs spirally out of control for many Americans, many people simply can no longer afford decent for some any health care. Americans spend more on health care than any other country, yet do not receive substantially better quality for the added cost. With insurance being privately owned, the consumer nor those in the medical industry will not benefit from it, which drives up overall costs.
With government regulated costs and procedures, the American people can get the care they need without worrying about going into crippling debt or their insurance denying them necessary procedures due to cost or physicians being "out of network".
Over the past few years, we've all seen insurance costs skyrocket while coverage decrease. It's time we try something else. Thank you.
