Create a portal on healthcare.gov that allows Veterans to log on and get LOCAL healthcare providers. The VA needs to be radically changed or scrapped all together. By creating a way vets can go on the open market so to speak, to obtain healthcare it gives them better chance for results. Having to wait weeks for an MRI and then weeks for a doctor to read it and then weeks to get doctor's notes is not giving proper care. Us Vets held up our end of the bargain it is time for the Government to hold up their end. Navigating the VA is a nightmare. Being bounced around and passed between doctors is no way to live. Fix the VA by reducing its mission to Vet support and not Vet healthcare. Allow Vets to see doctors in their communtiy rather than die waiting to see a doctor three hours away.
