Citizens of a previous generations were asked by their government to help the war effort by growing some of their own vegetables.
These were called "Victory Gardens." Let's reboot the Victory Garden concept into Victory Gardens 2.0 for the health and economy of the United States, have fun doing it, and educate a new generation of Green Kids.
Families across America are removing their unproductive lawns and planting delicious tomatoes, green beans, corn, basil, chives, you name it... From kitchen herbs to pumpkins, gardeners save money and eat healthfully.
Mrs. Obama should be an advisor to the Victory Garden 2.0 Initiative and visit some of these pocket-sized gardens right here in the District.
