The purpose of this petition is to encourage the White House to begin the dialogue on digital voting rights for US citizens. With current technologies we can transform our democracy to be more inclusive, spreading power more equally through digital voting on the internet.
Today we have apps, fingerprint scanning and more technologies in development that allow the individuals to connect as never before in history. What if we could use these systems to vote on bills. If a system of real time voting was developed government corruption would be reduced, bills would be read in detail and everyday citizens would have more voice on how our society is governed.
Thus through this petition I would like to encourage the White House to discuss digital voting rights for the American People.
