We the People want President Obama's administration to create a division within the Dept of Education that will recruit, screen, train and equip prior military personnel to protect our nation's schools.
We recognize that our nation has a large number of veterans who still wish to serve our nation and their communities. These same veterans have the basic skills needed to provide a wide range of public safety services to the schools. With only a little initial and regular refresher training, we could mobilze a quality security force to protect our nations childern.
This force would be all volunteer, the only cost incurred by the government would be for supply and training. Allow our nation's heros to continue to serve today!
