Create a Voting Security Task Force of computer security experts to ensure we have a verifiable, secure voting system.

Created by D.I. on September 27, 2011

Americans must be able to trust our voting system to protect our democracy. Election systems used nationwide have proven to be insecure.

The Vulnerability Assessment Team at Argonne National Laboratory proved they could change voting results on Diebold machines without a trace.

The Security Group at the University of California, Santa Barbara demonstrated that the Sequoia voting system was insecure and vulnerable to many simple attacks (disclosure: I'm a PhD student at UCSB).

Our country needs a secure, verifiable voting system. President Obama, please assemble a team of security experts from universities, government agencies, and companies across America to design, develop, and deploy a secure electronic voting system to protect voters and the democratic process.
