create a way for ex-convicts with or without felonies to be able to better re-adapt to society.

Felons that have been released from prison are having a very difficult time finding jobs. This is causing the recidivism rate to rise. There are several felons that have been released from prison and are actually trying to rehabilitate and start their lives over.As a criminal justice major, I have witnessed this first hand. Their rights were stripped when they went to prison and that is also removing them from their natural right to vote as a citizen of the USA.Felons cannot find jobs because they have a record that is never stripped. They cannot travel to certain areas, carry firearms, or even vote!It is my belief that after a certain amount of years after their release and they have paid their debt to society, that they should be readmitted fully into society and their records wiped clean!
