In helping to design safety systems, I understand the importance of data and making it readily available. We need a "data driven society" that can make decision on data. The more data that is available the more we can use computers to make good decisions that are data driven. The US government should start a call to the world to make data open to the world in order to improve the world. Statistics are only as good as the data behind them.
Please make all data available to US citizens and the world. This great society of free data will allow users to build businesses and technology because of realized opportunities and information services that are centered around data.
