create a White House Office for Children and Youth

Created by E.D. on February 03, 2016

According to the U.S census Millennials outnumber baby boomers by 5 million and range between the ages of 14 and 34. However, the youngest member of Congress is 31, this age gap is significant and demonstrates that in todays world the younger generation does not get a voice in issues that impact their lives. This petition aims to create a White House Office for Children and Youth which will focus on legislation regarding youth 24 and younger, the office will also create a Youth Advisory Board where citizens ages 14-24 can serve on the board and advise members on legislation.
This office, and the Youth Advisory Board, will finally give youth a chance to have a say in what happens to them. Please sign this petition so that millennials, and the generations that follow, can have a voice..
