The executive branch of the government wields a large amount of power, yet has unsuccessfully been able to sway congress on a proper model budget. Deficit spending will not solve the economic crisis, nor will re-routing funds unless it's to the private sector. However, the past six years have seen a ghastly spike in fiscal problems due to our debt, which has become a focal point of arguments across the United States. This sort of outrageous and unchecked spending has put the private sector at risk, even though it is supposedly rebounding with more jobs. Companies are finding it harder to thrive, and competition in the open market is drying up. To properly avoid a full economic collapse, and another government shutdown such actions must be taken.
