create a WPA to bury the electric lines of major metropolitan areas prone to hurricane damage, saving untold $ billions.

Created by C.A. on January 11, 2013

After hurricane Sandy it became apparent that the infrastructure in many metropolitan areas, especially on the east coast, are old and poorly designed. To counteract this looming risk of failure in the now more warm world, which creates more, and more severe hurricanes and storms. These infrastructures are now Achilles heels for our nation, as they power our older cities that do have concentration of wealth and commerce.
I am calling on the Obama Administration to initiate a discovery process of starting a WPA program that would do 2 things simultaneously. Bury the electric lines of these metropolitan areas and put people to work.
