The US Government hasn't officially kept track of UFO reports in decades. The FAA specifically tells people not to even attempt to report UFO sightings. Airline pilots who see UFOs can ruin their careers by coming forward. Even if the government won't admit they know anything more about them we should still have an official department to report and track such activity, and paranormal activity as well.
